Kelman Network
The University of Graz is in cooperation with the international Kelman Network for Peacebuilding. Members of the cooperation meet annually at a conference at the Harvard University, which is an organization by the Herbert C. Kelman Institute of Interactive Conflict Transformation in Vienna and Jerusalem.
The Institute is dedicated to Herbert C. Kelman, who is a longstanding Clarke Cabot Professor of Social Ethics and director of the program International Conflict Analysis and Resolutions at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at Harvard. He has been an essential force behind the peace meditations in the Israeli and Palestine Conflict. By applying an interactive conflict transformation approach, the Institute is engaged in the management of international and intra-societal conflicts (see Alpen Adria or Israel - Palestine).
Within the context of this cooperation, the University of Graz conducts research projects and offers lectures to students.
